                                                                                Our Story

 

Trinity Armory’s roots began long before the name itself.

​

Originally established as Cleveland Police Supply, the business was founded by Henry “Wally” Wieghat with a simple mission: to provide local law enforcement officers with quality firearms and equipment at affordable prices. Serving those who protect our communities has always been at the heart of the business.

​

In 2012, Wally’s son, Jack Wieghat, returned home to Texas and joined his father in the family business. Working together out of a modest 15-by-30-foot building on the family property, they shared a vision of creating something much larger than a firearms store—a place where people could safely learn, train, and build confidence through responsible firearm ownership. Together, they have over 70 years of Military and Law Enforcement experience.

That vision became reality in 2015 when Jack’s grandfather, Henry Wieghat, helped make the dream possible by assisting in the construction of what would become Trinity Armory. His investment of time, support, and belief in the family’s vision laid the foundation for the business that stands today.

In 2016, the Wieghat family proudly opened the doors of Trinity Armory to the public.

Over the years, Jack and his wife, Jayme Wieghat, have taken on the day-to-day leadership and management of Trinity Armory. Together, they have overseen the business’s growth, expanded its services, strengthened relationships with customers and law enforcement agencies, and continued to build the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere that has become the hallmark of Trinity Armory. While the ownership transition is now being formalized, Jack and Jayme have been leading and operating the business for years.

Today, Trinity Armory has grown into a trusted destination for firearm sales, professional training, public range access, and law enforcement support. While the business has expanded, its purpose has remained unchanged: to serve the community with integrity, promote responsible firearm ownership through education, and provide a safe, welcoming environment for shooters of all experience levels.

Guided by the values of faith, freedom, service, and safety, Trinity Armory remains committed to honoring the legacy established by Wally and the late Henry Wieghat while continuing to invest in the future. As the next generation of family ownership takes the reins, our mission remains steadfast—to support responsible firearm ownership, serve our community, stand behind those who protect it, and preserve a business built on trust, integrity, and family values for generations to come
